Team Member Spotlight
Since joining the MFA team in early 2026, Bowen has quickly integrated into our client operations. As a Client Service Associate, she supports the firm’s daily workflows by focusing on the administrative details and processes that keep our office moving forward with precision.
She works behind the scenes to manage the essential workflows that keep our practice running smoothly. From generating complex account paperwork to navigating intricate administrative processes, Bowen brings attention to detail to the role. By maintaining clear and proactive communication throughout each stage of a request, she provides our clients with the clarity and confidence they need as their financial plans are put into motion.

Why did you choose to become a client service associate?
I was drawn to the client service associate role because it sits at the intersection of problem-solving and people. Operations may happen behind the scenes, but it plays a critical role in making sure everything runs smoothly for clients. I enjoy being the person who can step in, handle the details, and ultimately add value by making things easier and more seamless for them. Knowing that my work helps bring clients peace of mind is what makes this role especially meaningful to me.
What’s a memory from your client interactions that’s stayed with you?
One thing that has stayed with me isn’t a single big moment, but rather a pattern I’ve noticed across many interactions. After resolving what might seem like a small issue or sending a simple update, clients often reply with genuine appreciation. Those short “thank you” messages stand out to me because they reinforce that even the small things we do matter. It’s a reminder that every detail we handle contributes to the overall client experience, and that our efforts are truly seen and valued.
Why are you excited to be part of MFA?
I’m excited to be part of MFA because of the strong sense of teamwork and support within the firm. It’s an environment where people are always willing to help each other, which makes it a great place to learn and grow! I also appreciate how much emphasis is placed on client experience, that everyone is aligned around delivering high-quality service, and it’s motivating to be part of a team that takes pride in that.
What is a quirk of yours?
A quirk of mine is that I feel like I can’t fully activate my brain unless I’m holding a pen. For some reason, the moment I have a pen in hand, it’s like a switch flips and I can think more clearly and organize my thoughts better. It might be the result of 17 years of school training, but at this point it’s basically part of my process. No pen, no thoughts!
Tell us about your next vacation.
My next vacation is to Vancouver and Banff. I’m especially looking forward to Vancouver because I’ve heard it has some of the most authentic Cantonese cuisine outside of Asia! Then I’ll head to Banff, which I mostly know from social media reels. The lakes and mountain views look unreal in every video I’ve seen. It feels like a great mix of good food and breathtaking nature.
